Communist Devaswom Minister organizes beef fest against ban on sale of cows for slaughter

The state of Kerala has been the hub of anti-Hindu activities ever since the current LDF government came to power in 2016. The state has witnessed a number of murders of Hindu activists and attempts to desecrate Hindu temples and traditions. Recently, the new rule passed under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act bans the sale of cattle for slaughter in Bharat. This has given a chance to the Communists in Kerala to further exhibit their anti-Hindu agenda in public. Protesting against these new rules passed by the central government, many people belonging to SFI, DYFI, IYC etc. conducted beef fests across Kerala in the past few days.

In the Ernakulam district SFI’s beef fest was inaugurated by Kadakampally Surendran, the Minister for Co-operation, Tourism and Devaswoms. It is astonishing that the Devaswom minister who is in control of many Kerala temples himself inaugurated the beef festival, which is totally against Hindu ethos. With a man who has most Kerala temples under his control inaugurating a beef fest, isn’t it time Hindus start pondering about anti-Hindu elements inside the temple management and what that means for the safety of the temples & age old tradition of rituals?

While such open anti Hindu activities have generate a wave of shock among Hindus in other parts of the country, the LDF government has been continuing its attempt to desecrate Hindu practices. Recently, during the hearing of Sabarimala case as well, the LDF government had changed its affidavit favoring the entry of women of all ages into the Sree Dharma Sastha temple of Sabarimala going against the wishes of Hindus in Kerala. Even before coming to power, the Communist party operating as the opposition party in Kerala, aided the Mar Sleeva Puram project by the Vatican members in Kerala which tried to change the Hindu face of Thiruvananthapuram.

While the Communist CPM party has been preaching about atheism, asking for the breaking of idols in temples and conducting beef fests in colleges and other public spaces, Ms. K Chandrika, the ex mayor of Thiruvananthapuram belonging to the Communist party visited Vatican in 2012, when a Kerala priest was installed as Cardinal by the pope. Certain communist activists even supported the Muziri project to make Chrisitian history in Kerala. This shows that the atheist agenda of Communists is largely limited only to Hindu practices while the minorities are appeased and revered for vote bank politics making the communist party totally anti-Hindu and contradicting their claim of tolerance, secularism and atheism.
