Samajwadi goons unleash hell on poor UP villagers for voting BJP

Even after being booted out by people of UP, Samajwadi Party has not learnt its lesson and continues to indulge in its trademark muscle-power style of intimidatory politics. The license for this mockery of democracy being provided by a fawning Delhi media which issued SP’s ‘secular’ certificate.

As per this news report

“A very grim news has emerged from an eastern Uttar Pradesh district Balia where according to a News18 report, Samajwadi Party workers touched a new low burnt down the houses of villagers to avenge their defeat. According to the report, most of the villagers had voted for the BJP because of which the SP workers got enraged and resorted to violence to take revenge. The incident took place in the Rajbar area.

According to the report, the SP workers beat up the villagers badly and left several people seriously injured. Police, after being informed about the incident reached the spot and it arrested several people in the case. As of now, a strong police contingent has been deployed in the village and the situation, is under control.

The villagers while talking to the reporters said that the Samajwadi party workers were repeatedly asking why they had voted in BJP’s favour and why had they not voted for the ‘Cycle’.

The report indicates exactly what the UP elections were about – presence of jungle raj in the state. The public voted overwhelmingly against SP’s violent ways and its penchant for resorting to violence. “

Similar news is coming in from Mainpuri in central UP, where over a dozen villagers in Dannahar area have been thrashed by goons for not voting as per their diktats.

The fact that booth level polling data is declared during counting enables this kind of post-poll victimization, and it has revived calls for introduction of a ‘vote totaliser’ machine for mixing votes.

In another instance which highlights the sheer arrogance & fuedalism of SP, senior party leader Azam Khan can be seen threatening & humiliating an official while going to collect his winning certificate from Rampur constituency –

Khan, who is upset at being made to walk through dirt to collect the certificate, can be seen menacingly threatening the official, saying “Did Modi ask you to do this too (make me walk through muck)? …the Government has not changed yet…I am still a minister,  and can take action against you. Is this why I got you transferred when you were lying in a garbage dump in some remote corner, when you were crying

However, such viciousness and attacks on voters are not uncommon in UP, Bihar, Kerala, West Bengal and other parts of Bharat. The common thread is that it is usually the left-secular parties who resort to such thuggery & goondaism. Before LS 2014, an FIR was filed against Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar, for threatening residents of a village in the Baramati constituency to vote for his cousin and party chief Sharad Pawar`s daughter, Supriya Sule, or their water supply would be cut off. Pawar allegedly warned villagers that EVM machines can be checked to see who voted for Sule and who did not.

This again goes to show the ‘secular‘ narrative in mainstream media enables unrestrained corruption, criminality, violence and extortion of ‘secular’ parties. At the same time, the demonization of BJP & RSS hides the fact their cadre is far more disciplined & democratic-minded due to the sobering influence of RSS ideology rooted in nationalism.
