Shocking Video of CPM’s Student Wing SFI Attacking Kerala Police

Student’s Federation of India (SFI), CPM’s student wing, is perpetually in local news for assaulting students and college administration who dare go against their diktats for a long time in Kerala. This trend has intensified ever since CPM swept to power last year in Kerala.

Now, a shocking video has been shared by news agency ANI which shows SFI activists assaulting police last night, after police intervened to help a man being attacked by the SFI goons.

This is not the first video evidence of brazen communist attacks on police. In July, a day before the murder of RSS worker E Rajesh, BJP’s Kerala state capital office was attacked and the CCTV footage shows how CPM goons assaulted the lone policeman who tried to stop them –

That law & order machinery in Kerala is totally under the thumb of the ruling party and its associated bodies is an open secret in Kerala today. This was exemplified in the sacking of Kerala top copy DGP TP Senkumar, known for his tough, independent approach, by the CPM Government last year. The DGP was later re-instated by the  Supreme Court, much to the Kerala Government’s embarrassment.

The communist intolerance for opposing views is evident in every university where SFI or other leftist groups have any influence. Whether it is JNU in New Delhi, Hyderabad Central University or Jadavpur university in West Bengal, leftist student bodies resort to violence and physical intimidation to quell any independent thought – all in the name of social equality and justice! Often the worst victims of this left fascism are the under-privileged OBC and Dalit Hindu students who are mentally and physically coerced to toe the leftist line.

Here are some recent cases of SFI bullying & violence in Kerala colleges, often against students from underprivileged backgrounds –

  • SFI workers beat up girl students for taking out independent march at ‘Party College’ of Madapalli.
  • SFI workers thrash Dalit student Vivek with iron rod for starting ‘Ambedkar Students Movement’ at MG University, Kottayam.
  • SFI workers attacked a mother who had come to Perunthalmanna Polytechnic to complain about attack on son Ameen.
  • A tribal Dalit student was stripped and abused in SFI controlled Karyavattom University Hostel in Trivandrum
  • Even sister leftist student body AIYF (youth wing of CPI) has come out against SFI brutality. They recently held a rally demanding “SFI should close down torture chambers in colleges under its control”

In 2016, SFI goons even sunk as low as attacking a retired-diplomat TP Sreenivasan –

This video from last year’s protests by leftist student bodies over the Kanhaiya Kumar – Umar Khalid saga shows the level at which these ‘activists’ operate –

Even in the tragic Rohith Vemula suicide case, Rohith had made an FB post accusing SFI of pitting Dalits against Dalits, and in his suicide note he wrote about his disillusionment with leftist student organizations like SFI, ASA (Ambedkar Study Association) which he felt ‘exist for their own sake’.

But such violence & deep-seated intolerance for differing views in the student wing is not surprising when we see how the senior CPM leaders behave.

In 2014, Congress MLA A.P. Abdullakutty, who was earlier with CPM, had revealed that in 2008 then CPM State Secretary & now Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan had asked his party workers to follow the Bengal communist style of killings opponents – ‘bury their bodies in a deep pit along with a sack of salt. The world never comes to know about the blood, photographs or the news about such killings.’

And the bloody, dysfunctional CPM rule for 33 long years in West Bengal from 1977 – 2010 led to around 50000 ‘political murders’, going by some estimates. Some of the worst examples from this period of the brutal communist methods in dealing with political/ideological opponents are –

1.) CPM cadres first murdered two important Congress leaders belonging to the Sain family of Burdwan town, and later  made the mother of the two Sain brothers eat rice drenched with the blood of her dead sons.

2.) The next remarkable case of mass murder was done on the monks and nuns of the Anandmargi group. Seventeen of them were beaten to death and then doused in petrol to burn them publicly.

3.) A senior lady officer of the UNICEF and another senior officer of the Government of India detected a case of huge embezzlement of UN funds by some CPI-M organisation within the South 24-Parganas district. When they were returning with a lot of incriminating evidence, their vehicle was waylaid at Bantala by the CPI-M goons. The vehicle was set on fire to destroy all documentary evidence. The driver, who tried to protect the two lady officers, was killed. Then the lady officers were raped and one of them murdered and her body without any cloth left on the open paddy field. When the then Chief Minister, Jyoti Basu, was informed of the incident, he quipped to the waiting mediamen: “Such incidents do happen, don’t they?”
