VHP Thailand and partners organized hugely popular Ganesha Festival celebrations at 8 locations in Thailand for this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi. Thousands of devotees flocked to seek divine blessings of Sri Ganesha.

The *Special Souvenir Stamp of 10th Ganesha Festival 2017* issued by Thailand Post was launched by H.E. Mrs. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports, Government of Thailand on 2nd Sep at the opening ceremony of the #WeLoveGanesha celebrations.

The Special Souvenir Stamp by Thailand Post is an expression of people’s faith, love and devotion for Sri Ganesha in Thailand.

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as birth anniversary of Sri Ganesh who is worshipped as the God of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. The festival was aimed at paying respect to the divine soul of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej and blessing for King Maha Vajiralongkorn as well as to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Thailand and Bharat.

The grand Ganesha festival ended with the visarjan ceremony conducted under the King Bhumibol Bridge 1 at Rama 3 road. The festival activities were widely covered both by local English and Thai media.
