Radical Islamists and Islamic terrorism are a threat to humanity

Europe has been at the receiving end of Islamic terrorism lately and seen how barbaric and monstrous Islamic jihadis and fundamentalists can be, for whom beheading an innocent teacher is a walk in the park.

As the dreaded and insanely Islamic jihad raised its ugly head in Austria, the world was reminded yet again of what these jihadi maniacs can unleash across boundaries. The French President was forthright and direct in condemning the attack and its perpetrators but Islamic bigots, like Turkey’s Eradagon and Malaysia’s nonaganerian Mahatir Mohammad, were far from uttering any word of condemnation.

They chose to blame Macron for his straight talk thereby, proving their pro-Islamic jihadi mindset which smacks of intolerance and violence and is a threat to humanity.

The French PM Jean Castex minced no words and was unequivocal in his condemnation. “We know the enemy it has not only been identified but it also has a name ‘Radical Islamism'”, he said during a memorial service for the nice victims. Driving home his point he said “Radical Islamism is a Muslim ideology which distorts its religion by twisting its scriptures.”

Since 2014 there has been a spurt in terrorism in Europe. In November 2015, the Paris attack saw 230 killings while the June Ataturk airport attack killed 45 innocents and the July 2016 Nice truck attack saw 86 people dead. Belgium and Britain also saw terror knocking at their doorsteps with the March 2016 Brussels bombings killing 32 and the Manchester bombings killing another 22.

Bharat has been waging a lone battle against Islamic terrorism and it was only after the dastardly 9/11 terror bombings that America and Americans realised the full potency of Islamic terror which they had been bird viewing earlier and were nonchalant inspite of Bharat’s clamouring for a unified front on all kinds of terrorism.

Bharat has been battling Islamic terror in Kashmir and Hindus have been massacred and made to flee their homes under the very eyes of erstwhile politicians who promoted nepotism and misgoverned Kashmir for decades. Now out of power, they have become self acclaimed champions of human rights but will not utter a word at the maniacs running amok in Europe or the Hindus and Sikhs being brutally killed in Pakistan and Bangladesh apart from being forcibly converted to Islam.

These Islamic bigots, the pseudo-seculars and the Lutyens paparazzi have been vociferous in opposing the abrogation of Article 370 and the introduction of CAA but have their tongues tied when it comes to condemnation of atrocities committed on minorities in Islamic countries and the macabre killings in France and Austria recently.

Terrorism, especially Islamic terrorism, poses a great threat to humanity and anyone who tries to oppose or condemn it, is immediately ridiculed or targeted with death threats. President Macron realised this when he was unequivocal in his condemnation of the dastardly and macabre beheading of 47 year old Samuel Paty.

The US under its President elect Joe Biden needs to take the lead in commanding a unified front of democracies and peace loving nations across the globe to fight this menace in lines with the quad.

This jihadi monster has to be dealt with headlong as any sidestepping would prove disastrous for humanity.
