25-year-old Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma murdered over Ram Mandir donations

25-year-old Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma was stabbed to death by a Muslim mob who dragged him out of his house in Delhi’s Mangolpuri on Wednesday night. Although mainstream media (MSM) is attempting to whitewash the case as one of a brawl between two parties, it has come to light that Sharma was brutally murdered after an argument over the Ram Mandir donation drive.

The four who have been arrested by the police have been identified as Mohammad Islam, Danish, Zahid, and Mehtab have been booked under the relevant sections of the IPC said a policeman in his statement to the Times of India (TOI). Although police have ruled out any communal angle and the murder allegedly resulted out of a brawl between the two sides at a birthday party as per TOI, Dainik Jagran quotes Sharma’s family members as saying that an argument broke out between Sharma and his assailants had during the awareness rally conducted last month to collect donations for Sri Ram Mandir.

As per reports, Rinku Sharma was working as a lab technician in a hospital in Paschim Vihar. He was residing in Mongolpuri with his family comprising of his mother Radha Devi, father Ajay Sharma, and two brothers Ankit and Manu Sharma. The entire family, especially Rinku, is said to be actively involved in Bajrang Dal activities.

In his statement to the media, Rinku’s brother Ankit Sharma said that the murderers forced their way into the Sharma household on Wednesday late in the evening and began attacking his elder brother Rinku with knives. Rinku’s second brother Manu Sharma added “before we could understand what had happened, the men surrounded us and started asking about my brother”.

They dragged Rinku out of the house and repeatedly punched and kicked him before stabbing him with a knife. One of the assailants stabbed Sharma on the back with a huge knife and fled from the scene leaving Sharma in a pool of blood. The family then rushed him to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital. The family was intercepted by the murderers on their way to the hospital as well as per Ankit Sharma’s statement who added that the assailants even reached the hospital.

The doctors then operated on Sharma and removed the knife. However, since his condition started deteriorating, on Thursday they referred him to another hospital. Unfortunately, before Sharma could be shifted to the other hospital Sharma breathed his last on Thursday afternoon.

Although the situation was diffused during the Ram Mandir donation drive by locals who were present there, Sharma and the assailants supposedly bumped into each other at a birthday party on Wednesday where another argument ensued between the two.

Sudarshan TV footage shows Sharma being stabbed in cold blood by the assailants who have forced their way into his home.

OpIndia quotes Sharma’s father who spoke to Sudarshan TV as saying:

“On Wednesday night, around 25-30 persons knocked on the door. After they were let in, they attacked his son Rinku Sharma, and his younger son Ankit was also attacked. He said that the attackers kicked them around, stabbed Rinku, and vandalized the house.”

A video of the incident also shows the mob attempting to grab an LPG cylinder in a possible attempt to use it as a weapon. Additionally, CCTV footage from outside the Sharma residence shows many people barging into the house with knives and sticks.

What is even more appalling is the apathetic attitude towards the entire incident where a youth has been murdered in the most gruesome manner and the media is not just dismissing it as a brawl between two parties but not as much as debating the issue simply because of the religion of the accused.

Hindupost has highlighted time and again the point that media bias dictates coverage of mob lynching cases and the lack of MSM debates proves Hindupost right. Of course, it would be a folly to expect Hindudveshi media to be fair. And as if Hindudveshi media wasn’t enough, there are people mocking Sharma’s death simply because he was a Hindu and a Bajrang Dal activist.

As per the media and the likes of Tanzila Anis, Rajdeep Sardesai, Zubair, and others, a Tabrez Ansari deserves debates and sympathy, while a Rahul, Gautam, Kamlesh Tiwari, and now Rinku Sharma being lynched is just another murder. Why is Hindu life so cheap in a Hindu majority country?
