Police have caught two Muslim men in a kidnapping case of a minor teenager living in the Sambhal area. The police took action and arrested both the accused and recovered the teenager within 10 hours. As per available information, late Monday evening, Kotwali police were informed by the Mohalla resident woman that her 13-year-old daughter has been kidnapped by two youths.
On receiving the information, the police became alert and started searching for the teenager along with the kidnappers. Police spread a trap with the help of their informers in search of the teenager and her abductors. Inspector Vikas Saxena, in charge of Kotwali, received information that the kidnappers were spotted on Muradabad Road with the teenager.
Inspector Vikas Saxena in charge under the direction of SP and ASP led by CO Arun Kumar Singh, Deputy Inspector Amit Kumar and other police personnel team swung into action and reached the place mentioned by the informer. Both the youth attempted to escape seeing the police team. But the police personnel caught both of them and detained the teenager.
During the interrogation, the youth identified themselves as Hasin residents of Kabir’s Sarai and his tenant Jiaul. Both the kidnappers were caught along with the teenager within 10 hours. The police have arrested the two and sent the girl for medical examination.
