Congress-Left Ecosystem Painting Sanatan Sanstha with a Terror Brush – Interview with Chetan Rajhans , National Spokesperson, Sanatan Sanstha

Talking to Mayank Jain of Hindu Post, Chetan Rajhans, National spokesperson, Sanatan Sanstha, responded to various allegations of terrorism against his organisation about incidents that happened in 2008, 2009, 2015, 2017 and 2018.

Chetan Rajhans explained in detail about why Sanatan Sanstha was not a terrorist organization. Sanatan Sanstha, according to him, worked on the philosophy of  Sanatan Dharma. As his organisation grew in Maharashtra, various atheist and ‘rationalist’ organisations started losing their sheen. Therefore, the Sanatan movement was increasingly opposed by communist and the so-called secular organizations along with many radical Christian and Islamic groups  and not by individuals.

None of the allegations against Sanatan Sanstha had stuck on the credibility of  the organisation despite being repeatedly targeted by many organisations including media. After every allegation, the Sanstha members were found to be innocent and, therefore, the Sanstha continued to have a clean image.

Replying to a question  regarding a recent case which pinned blame on Sanstha members for having a bomb factory, he replied that the Mumbai ATS had alleged that there was a bomb factory in Nala Sopara and nine persons were arrested in the case. Out of those arrested, five persons were completely unknown to the Sanstha, added Shri Rajhans. The remaining four, who were arrested, had participated in various rallies or workshops conducted by the Sanstha but were neither its followers nor its members at all, stated the Sanstha spokesperson.

Clarifying further on the subject , he stated that Maharashtra ATS and the Home Ministry had already declared that they had not named any organization in the case. Their investigations were being conducted only in the context of the crime, he added.

Defending Sanatan Sanstha against various allegations, Chetan Rajhans claimed that his organisation had become a soft target of the media, communists and other anti-dharma groups. Despite the fact that BJP was the ruling party in Maharashtra, the police and Maharashtra administration officials were largely ‘Congress-minded’, Rajhans added with a sigh of helplessness. Presenting his case further, he said that there was political pressure on police to arrest even Maratha leader Sambhaji Bhide, Narendra Modi’s guru.

Regarding Dr. Dhabholkar’s murder case, Rajhans proclaimed that his organisation was mercilessly bridled  with false allegations by the Congressized eco-system in the state. Similarly, in the Gauri Lankesh murder case, Rahul Gandhi tweeted  without presenting a shred of evidence that the RSS and the right-wing movement were behind the crime.

All Sanatan Sanstha members arrested in various cases had already been released on bail since police did not have any proof against them. Only one person was behind bars in the Dhabolkar murder case, and that too since his family had taken a stay order from the High Court.

He further reiterated that the Sanstha was trying to clean its tarnished image by releasing press notes and by holding Press conferences. Defamation notices had also been issued against nine media houses who had targeted Sanatan Sanstha. Social media was being used by the Sanstha to expose falsehood being spread against his organisation, explained Chetan Rajhans, to show how his organisation was trying to win the information war.

Chetan Rajhans explained in detail about various creative activities of his organisation. Not getting bogged down by false allegations of terrorism, Sanatan Sanstha had involved itself in various Satsang missions which included activities like reforming drug addicts and by transforming a violence-prone village in the Sangli district of Maharashtra into a peaceful zone. The organisation also involved itself in youth training by strengthening Aatma bal, teaching the practice of  Sadhna and by imparting training in the field of self defence to them. Primary first aid in case of casualties and fire fighting were also taught free of cost.
