Mumbai HC takes cognizance of stalking complaint againt Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena Mp Sanjay Raut finds himself in trouble in the stalking allegations leveled against him as the Mumbai HC has now taken cognizance of the serious charges against Raut and directed the Mumbai police commissioner to look into the allegations. Further, the court has also ordered that a status report in the case be submitted on 24 June.

It has been alleged that Sanjay Raut had not only cheated the woman who is a psychiatrist but also hired men to stalk and spy on her. Furthermore, she had said the Raut had also indulged in abusing and threatening her and even attempted to get her killed.

In view of the serious nature of allegations, the high court took into account the Writ petition filed by the victim. The petition makes the Mumbai police a party in the case. In view of this, the high court has passed the orders asking the commissioner to look into the victim’s complaint. The woman had earlier said that MP Sanjay Raut had made her life a living hell for the past seven years.

In the meanwhile, BJP leader Nilesh Rane took a dig at Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and Marati media as well.
