VHP backs CAA, condemns mindless violence by protestors

Shri Milind Parande, Secretary General Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), said that Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is a very good act that is correcting historical wrongs that have been done at the time of partition of Bharat.

He added that CAA deals with the religious atrocities that have been committed against crores of religious minorities (like Hindu, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhist, Parsis and Christians) in the three Islamic countries of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The CAA will give citizenship and protection to these non-Muslim minorities.

Also, CAA does not deal with Bharatiya Muslims. It deals with non-Muslim minorities of only 3 Islamic countries. So, it is non-discriminative for Bharatiya Muslims. As this act deals specially with effects of partition of Bharat only, it does not deal with the problem of Sri Lankan Hindus. A separate act will be needed for them.

The premeditated, senseless and ill-motivated wanton street violence as well as the destruction of public properties in states like West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka in the name of opposing CAA is unacceptable and condemnable.

The recent attack on Shri Nankana Saheb in Pakistan by a Muslim mob as well as the abduction of the daughter of the Granthi are burning example of the atrocities against the Hindu – Sikh minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is important to note that the attack has come right after the Friday prayers in a local mosque. VHP condemns this attack and appeals to the Central Government and UNHRC to take cognizance of this attack and pressurize the Pakistani government to mend its ways.

Vishva Hindi Parishad (VHP) is making plans for organizational expansion throughout Bharat. We have organizational units all over the world in 29 countries and 60,000 places in the country with a membership (Hitchintak) of over 30 lakhs.

VHP is running over one lakh service projects in the field of health, education, women empowerment, skill development etc. So, in this two day Baithak (meeting) beginning today in Coimbatore, we will be planning for the organization and service projects expansion in South Bharat. VHP will be working actively to stop rampant religious conversion activities of Christian missionaries in Tamil Nadu.

Vishva Hindu Parishad is going to agitate at an all-Bharat level, in every district of Bharat, against the anti-Hindu policies and actions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments. The illegal take over and distribution of lands of temples, employment and involvement of non-Hindus in Hindu temple administration like Tirupati and Srisailam, payment of maulvis and pastors from the general taxpayers money, wholesale appointment of Christians only in government jobs, is not only anti-Hindu but also unconstitutional and illegal.

In the month of January, Vishva Hindu Parishad will conduct demonstrations in every district in the country and conduct a long term agitation in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

After the Supreme Court established the historical truth of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Vishva Hindu Parishad is assured that the central government will form a proper trust within the stipulated time for the construction of grand Shri Rama temple on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi sthan. Vishva Hindu Parishad will undertake huge Ram Mahotsav programs including Rath Yatras and big congregations till village level in March – April 2020.
