18-Year-Old Girl Drugged & Raped, Now Being Blackmailed to Convert to Islam & Marry

An 18-year-old Hindu girl working in a Delhi beauty parlour was drugged and raped by a Muslim neighbour, who is now blackmailing her with the rape video to convert to Islam and marry him, Hindi dailies Navbharat Times and Dainik Jagran have reported.

The girl is a resident of Old Faridabad, Haryana. In her complaint lodged with Faridabad Sector-16 police station, the girl said that on the morning of 11 August, 2018, she was going by auto to her beauty parlour for work. Her neighbour was also sitting in the auto, and near Badarpur border he gave her shikanji (lemonade) laced with drugs. After she passed out, he took her to a room and raped her.

When she regained consciousness, the accused showed her the rape video and threatened her to keep quiet or else he would upload the video on the internet. Subsequently, he raped her multiple times. He also forced the girl to sign on some blank papers. Now, he is pressurizing the girl to convert to Islam and do nikah.

The girl mustered up courage to tell her mother, and lodged the police complaint. The accused is absconding.
