A Dalit MLA’s house was burnt down, yet so-called Social Justice Warriors are quiet

Dalit MLA Akhanda Srinivas Murthy had a first-hand experience of the Islamic Jihadi mob mentality and the damage they are capable of causing. Despite the fact that he considered Muslims as ‘his brothers’ for the last 25 years, the mob burned down his 50-year-old house reports Organiser.

The Bengaluru riots on the night of 11th August served as another reminder to the so-called secular Hindus who like to believe in the one-sided implementation of the concept of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” even if it has no takers among Abrahamic fundamentalists.

In his statement, Murthy says how the Muslims whom he considered as his brothers burned his house and questioned “being a lawmaker and having won by the biggest margin in Karnataka, this is my condition today. What could be the condition of others?”

Luckily, neither the MLA nor any of his family members were home when the mob attacked. This is the second riot, after the Delhi one, where Jihadis have been able to mobilize a huge mob in no time and target police stations and police personnel; this time over a so-called offensive Facebook (FB) post.

The mob also vandalized the MLA’s nephew Naveen’s home (from whose FB account the said post had appeared). The family had a narrow escape as they fled their home by jumping onto a neighbour’s home from their terrace.

Besides vandalizing Naveen’s home and Pooja room, the mob also stole valuables worth lakhs before making their escape.

But not only did the mob target the Dalit MLA and his nephew’s homes, they also decided to loot the MLA’s neighbour’s house. If the anger was indeed only over an FB post, why would the mob burn down the house of a Hindu neighbour of the MLA? Isn’t this proof enough that the FB post was merely an excuse and there is more than what meets the eye?

What is scary, however, is that the 4-term Pulikeshinagar MLA, a constituency having a sizeable Muslim population, has been equally popular with the Muslims as with Dalits and it is the Muslim votebank of Congress that has helped him win with record margins.

As far as his relations with his Muslim voters are concerned, they are cordial and he has the reputation of helping them out whenever needed. Despite all the goodwill, he was at the receiving end of Islamic violence because Jihadis found his nephew’s FB post ‘offensive’. This is yet another reminder that for Islamists their religion trumps all else, and those secular Hindus like Akhanda Srinivas Murthy who appease Islamists will only end up getting devoured when their utility to Islamists ends. Murthy should have read some history, especially the fate of Dalit leader Jogendranath Mandal.

He appealed to the Chief Minister and Home Minister to ensure that adequate security is provided to him and his family and also asked for the case to be investigated by the CBI, CCB, or CID on the basis of intelligence inputs.

Initially, Murthy was reluctant to file an FIR for reasons best known to him (pressure from Congress High Command?). He even made an appeal to Muslims of his constituency to maintain calm while blaming ‘outsiders’ for instigating violence; note: this is part of the standard template used by seculars to absolve Islamists after riots

But finally he did register an FIR on Friday. The FIR mentions gold and silver items worth Rs 3 crore were looted from his house during the violence, during which 2000-3000 people set his house and other properties including vehicles on fire.

As per police, Islamic organizations like the SDPI and husband of a Congress corporator are involved in this well organized and pre-planned riot. However, seculars and liberals have conveniently shut their eyes and ears and are instead using the FB post as an alibi to white-wash the Jihadi crimes.

Husband of Nagawara’s Congress corporator Irshad Begum, Kaleem Pasha, who is himself a former corporator and reportedly close to former minister and scam-accused senior Congress leader KJ George (a close Sonia aide) is said to be involved in instigating the riot along with SDPI members.

The Bengaluru police have booked both SDPI leader Muzammil Pasha and Kaleem Pasha.

Meanwhile, the alleged social justice warriors (SJW) have gone completely silent and the Bhim-Mim (Dalit-Muslim) brotherhood brigade has conveniently gone into hiding. Congress, on the other hand, has found a scapegoat in Naveen, the MLA’s nephew, who another scam-accused senior Congress leader DK Shivkumar alleges is a staunch supporter of BJP.

KPCC Chief Shivkumar said “Naveen is a staunch supporter of the BJP.  The police which filed a suo motu case against a Congress party worker for his derogatory post on the Union home minister recently did not bother to file an FIR against Naveen for hours nor to arrest him. Instead, they made the complainants wait for hours. This led to the disaster”.

So an alleged delay of a few hours in filing FIR over an ‘offensive’ FB post is reason enough to riot, attack two different police stations with intent to lynch policemen, loot & burn people’s homes, torch over a hundred vehicles?  By that logic, what does Shivkumar have to say about the case in Alwar, in Congress-ruled Rajasthan, where police dragged their feet for days before filing a watered-down FIR against Muslim goons sexually exploiting a minor girl for over an year – father of the girl was eventually found hanging in murky circumstances. Or about the dozens of other cases where Hindus are patiently waiting for police & legal action against comics and celebrities who denigrate Hindu Gods and beliefs? Should Hindus start rioting on the streets to get themselves heard by the secular state – is that DK Shivakumar’s message?
