An appeal for help for Palghar lynch victim Nilesh Telgade’s family

The country is yet to recover from the horrific incident at Palghar where two Sadhus and their driver were lynched to death by a mob despite the presence of police officials. Chikane Maharaj Kalpavrishgiri and Sushil Giri Maharaj, sadhus of Varanasi’s Sri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara and their driver Nilesh Telgade are the unfortunate victims of this terrible incident.

Nilesh Telgade comes from an underprivileged family and has left behind his 2 daughters, wife and mother who would now have to fend for themselves. Telgade worked as a rental car driver and lost his life for no fault of his. His sudden demise puts his young family at a loss, not just of the head of the family but also an earning family member. Well-meaning citizens have come forward to help this family in their hour of crisis. A campaign has been started to collect funds that would help Nilesh’s family members to take care of their day to day needs.

The campaign intends to raise around 30 lakhs rupees for the family in distress. We at Hindupost appeal to our readers to come forward and do their bit. Loss of life can never be replaced with money but the least we can do is provide the family some means of sustenance.
