Bajrang Dal workers assaulted in BJP-ruled Jharkhand for chanting ‘Jai Sri Ram’

One of the favorite left-liberal theories is that BJP rising to power in any state means oppression of minorities in that state or region – ‘minority’ being a term reserved for Muslims and Christians by Indian secularists. But if one were to go beyond the news which is selectively highlighted by our discredited mainstream media, the reality is far removed from such secularist projections. Let us examine the situation in Jharkhand, a state where BJP came to power over 2 years back.

Bajrang Dal workers beaten in Hazaribagh

According to a report published in Dainik Jagran, Bajrang Dal activists were beaten by Muslim radicals in Chistia district of Hazaribagh. About eight people have been injured in this attack which occurred when Bajrang Dal workers were returning in a bus from a program while shouting slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’. These workers were returning after participating in a program organized at Saraswati Shishu Mandir.

Gang rape against minor

A matter of a 13-year-old girl being gang-raped in an area coming under Salga police station of Hazaribagh, Jharkhand has also come to light. The father of the victim has accused a youth of the village named Mohammed Ashik and his two friends of raping his daughter.

The matter dates back to 3rd April. The victim’s father said that when his daughter had gone out for defecation, Mohd. Ashik along with his friends kidnapped her and took her to the forest. They later left her in the village on Monday evening after raping her. The miscreants threatened the victim not to tell anyone about the incident.

Selective reporting

Incidents like the above two don’t make it to national news. What does catch attention of English news outlets is when 4 Muslim cattle traders are lynched by a mob over child theft rumors – the identity & profession of the victims allowing MSM to peddle their pet ‘beef violence’ narrative. The fact that around the same time 3 ‘upper caste’ Hindu men involved in Swachh Bharat linked business of building toilets were also lynched over child theft rumors, was secondary news.

Like the rest of Bharat (whether ruled by BJP or not), Jharkhand witnessed tensions during Ram Navami festival this year too, although it escaped major communal violence like last year.

Conclusion

The reality, which our national media will do everything to distort and suppress, is that Hindus are grappling with Islamist violence across Bharat, BJP rule or RSS influence in a region notwithstanding. Even a state like Gujarat still witnesses outbreaks of communal violence every now and then, although the situation is far improved from 1960-90s period when deadly riots were a common occurrence.

So while there is clear evidence that BJP rule in a state does improve the law & order situation, it still does not guarantee security of Hindus.

Anti-Hindu, Islamist appeasing and anti-national governments led by TMC in West Bengal and CPI (M) in Kerala need to be replaced with BJP Governments asap – no sane person would argue against that. But the question to be asked is – will that be enough to safeguard Hindus? Let us say that BJP was to continue its political expansion across the country and come to power in all states & center by 2030 – would that mean an end to attacks on Hindus by Muslim radicals? The answer is a resounding NO.

Islamist supremacism and penchant for violence cannot be eliminated through democratic choice and better policing alone, although those are the necessary first steps. This communal violence is just one step removed from the Islamist terror that Bharat has been grappling with over the last 25 years, and which the Western world has seen in the last decade.

Many Hindus believe that the solution lies in getting rid of sickularism and minority appeasement, and many Westerners believe that changing their foreign policy in the Middle East and eradicating illiteracy and poverty in the Muslim world is the answer. Both are mistaken. Unless we tackle the roots of Islamist ideology and engineer a social change in Muslim society by reforming the dangerous doctrines spread by Deobandis, Salafis, Wahabbis, Sufis and many other mainstream Islamic sects, the problem will continue to fester in one form or the other.

  1. […] And this incident is no one-off. Several such cases have come to light in recent times where Muslims accused they were targeted because of their faith, but the truth later proved otherwise. One new twist to the victimhood template is claiming the alleged attackers forced the Muslim victim to chant ‘Jai Sri Ram’, but again the truth is that it is the Hindus chanting ‘Jai Sri Ram’ who usually end up being the victims of radical Muslim/’secular’ mobs like here & here. 2. RSS has strayed far away from its earlier Hindutva grass root base to become main stream secular, as evident from its top product called NaMo. Except for development and toilets, there is really no difference between NDA and UPA visions viz. deny ground reality to chase a fake utopia of universal no mans land. Like begets like so Abrahamic fanaticism can only be stemmed by muscled response which no politician save Trump has the guts to handle. All pro-Hindu organizations need to be streamlined under one central leadership but that is venturing into forbidden territory as unity is unknown to the Hindu psyche.
