A a marriage function of two girls was organized in the house of Gayasuddin Ansari of Kamta village. HinduPost Note
We are hearing from ground sources that both parties have settled the matter in exchange of Rs. 25,000. It is not clear if police is going ahead with prosecution of the 2 men who were detained.
Incidentally, a 15-year-old girl was gang raped and burnt alive in Chatra district of Jharkhand on 22nd February – a case which has been almost completely blacked out by mainstream media, especially the English language media.
