Hindu youth Shubham stabbed outside Delhi home for objecting to Muslim racketeers

A Hindu youth, Shubham, was stabbed to death in broad daylight just outside his house by two Muslim hoodlums, Saif Ali and Sahil, in Delhi on Saturday.

As per a Times of India report

“A 25-year-old man who objected to youths gambling in the area was stabbed to death in front of his sister. The incident was reported from outer Delhi’s Ranhola on Saturday afternoon, following which two men have been arrested and a murder case registered. The deceased, Shubham, objected to a gambling racket being run in the area and often had arguments with the accused, Saif Ali and Sahil.

On Saturday, Saif Ali and Sahil reached Shubham’s house in the afternoon, called him outside and stabbed him. His sister, who was also standing outside, ran to get help, but the accused had managed to escape. Shubham was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.”

Dainik Jagran reports that even Shubham’s mother was present when he was ruthlessly killed. His sister tried bravely to stop the attackers but to no avail. Shubham’s family has alleged that the accused Saif Ali and his family also used to hurl casteist abuses at them – this indicates that the deceased might be from a Scheduled Caste background.

While some will try to brush this aside as just ‘routine crime’ which is being ‘communalized,’ the pattern of such murders in and around Delhi and the rest of the country show that these are not isolated incidents. In 2017, 21-year-old Rahul, caretaker of a public toilet, was stabbed to death by Salman and Shahid when he objected to their taking drugs in the toilet. Dr. Pankaj Narang was battered to death by a mob after he objected to two Muslim youth driving dangerously on their bike.

Dhruv Tyagi was murdered by a Muslim family when he went to complaint about the sexual harassment of his daughter. The list of Hindu victims of such minor disputes or requests to stop anti-social activities turning deadly is endless – Sajjan Singh, Yogesh Kumar (14), Santosh, Mangru Pahan, Bhavesh Koli, Sunita, Kupendra, Kanti Prasad, Rajbir Rathod….even a traffic policeman was not spared – constable Vilas Shinde was murdered for merely asking a Muslim juvenile to wear a helmet!

During the Covid-19 lockdown too, we have had several cases of Hindus being murdered on flimsiest of pretexts – Sunny Gupta, Sanatan Deka, Loten Nishad, Kala & Vishnu Jatav, Ravidas, Revant Singh, Kaili Devi

Many criminals, including illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingya immigrants, operate with immunity in lower-middle class and JJ clusters of Delhi and other metros, often with political patronage and connivance of local police.

So while Lutyens’ elites cry themselves hoarse over rising ‘Hindu fundamentalism,’ the lived reality for ordinary Hindus outside of posh areas is the exact opposite. Islamic radicalisation and emboldenment has made life a living hell for Hindus living in these mixed-population or Muslim-majority areas across the country, forcing them to migrate if their financial condition allows.
