Islamists threatened to behead Kamlesh Tiwari, a chilling recurrence of the same threat in Swami Narsinghanand’s case

In a chilling reminder of the Kamlesh Tiwari episode, Islamists have threatened to behead Dasna Mandir Mahant Swami Yati Narsinghanand for his alleged comment criticizing Prophet Mohammad. Lakhs of Islamists including children recently gathered at Bareilly asking for the Mahant to be beheaded.

The rally at Bareilly was held after AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan called for the beheading of Swami Narsinghanand as a ‘punishment’ for criticizing Mohammad. Khan put out a Hindi tweet saying:

“We can not tolerate such impertinence for our beloved Prophet Muhammad. This hateful insect should be awarded the most severe punishment by slitting his tongue and neck. But the law of the land does not permit us to do this, we have faith in the Indian constitution, and I want Delhi Police to take note of this.”

Islamists have always used violence as a means to suppress criticism and therefore the call by Khan was in no way surprising. What is worrisome, however, is lakhs of Muslims gathered after Friday prayers on 9 April not only thumbing a nose at Chinese Virus pandemic restrictions but also baying for the blood of the Mahant.

Maulanas addressed the slogan raising crowds and demanded the arrest of Swami Narsinghanand. Further, several Islamists shared the video of the incident on the social media (SM) platform Twitter where they called Swamiji a Bhagwa terrorist.

An OpIndia report says:

Muslims are demanding action against Yati Narsinghanand after a video had emerged where he was heard criticizing Islam. Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati was speaking at an event held at the Press Club of India where he had urged Hindus to be fearless in highlighting the characteristics of Prophet Muhammad.

“If Islam’s reality, for which Maulana says, ‘If you speak about Muhammad, we will behead you, Hindus should get rid of this fear. We are Hindus. If we can about the characteristics of Lord Ram, and other Hindu deities, then Muhammad is nothing for us. Why could not we speak about Muhammad and speak the truth?” Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati had exclaimed.

Proving his claims right, the AAP MLA had called for beheading him for his comments on Islam. Following his comments, Delhi police had filed an FIR against him for ‘hurting religious sentiments, taking suo moto cognizance. Amanatullah Khan also had lodged a complaint against him.

Subsequently, on 4th April, Delhi Police had filed an FIR against Amanatullah Khan also for threatening to behead Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati.

The level of indoctrination by Islamists is apparent from a video doing the rounds of SM showing several young children asking for the Mahant to be beheaded for supposedly committing ‘blasphemy

The children who seem to be in the 7-8-year-old age group were carrying a poster of Swami Narsinghanand garlanded with slippers titled “sar tan se juda” and calling the Mahant harami kuta (a sinner dog). They were heard raising the slogan “Gustakh-e-Nabi ki ek saza, sar tan se juda, sar tan se juda” (There is only one punishment for speaking against the Prophet and that is beheading).”

Islamists all over the country seem to have been emboldened by the call of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan. In addition, to these videos of the Bareilly Islamist gathering and Muslim children, one Danish Ali from Meerut had announced prize money of INR 51 lakhs to anyone who would behead Swami Narsinghanand. UP police, however, swung into action and arrested Ali.

On April 9, 4 radical Muslims were arrested from Balaghat by the Madhya Pradesh police for putting up posters against Swami Narsinghanand on Jama Masjid Road. The arrested were identified as Mateen Ajhari, Kasim Khan, Sohaib Khan, and Raza Khan.

Even AIMIM Kanpur put up a poster reading “Gustakh-e-Rasool ki ek saza, sar tan se juda, sar tan se juda” with beheaded images of the Mahant and Wasim Rizvi who had asked for the removal of certain verses in the Koran. The Kanpur police later removed the poster and filed a case against those involved.

In a supposedly democratic country like Bharat secularism means appeasing the minorities and it is this appeasement that has emboldened the Islamists to radicalize the Muslim society. With leaders like Akbaruddin Owaisi radicalizing Muslim youth and elected representatives like Amanatullah Khan calling for Sharia-style beheading, Bharat stares at an Islamist threat waiting to explode.

Given the fact that Islamists are cold-blooded murderers as was evident from the execution of Kamlesh Tiwari, the authorities would do well to ensure that ample protection is afforded to the Mahant of Dasna Devi Mandir.
