Love Jihad: Minor Girl Lured Away from Home by Boyfriend, Raped – Haryana

In a case of Love Jihad from Yamunanagar district of Haryana, a minor girl studying in Class 10 was lured away by her Muslim boyfriend along with two of his accomplices, and then raped.

As per Hindi daily Dainik Jagran, the girl’s mother said in her police complaint that the entire family was asleep at night but when she woke up at 4 AM, her daughter was missing. Her husband’s phone was switched off, but when they switched it on they saw some missed calls. When they called back, the man who answered said that their daughter had ‘got off’ a bike near Rulakhedi.

The family rushed to Rulakhedi and found the girl there. She said that her Muslim friend called her out of the house and asked her to sit in a car where two other youth were present as well. They took her to Kail village where she was raped three times. Then the Muslim youth took her on a bike – somewhere along the route, she jumped off the bike to escape and somehow managed to read Rulakhedi.

Police station in-charge Prithvi Singh said that the three accused have been caught and charged with rape, kidnapping and sections of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.
