“Acting on classified inputs of intel agencies, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad arrested a 30-year-old Mohammed-Inamul-Haq from Riyaz colony, in Bareilly.

Inamul is accused of radicalising youths to indulge in terror activities. Cops also recovered mobiles and SIM cards from his possession. UP ATS ADG, DK Thakur said that the intel agencies on the basis of scanning profiles of different people found Inamul’s profile to be suspicious.

“He used to send messages to others on Facebook of planning terror activities and ‘Jihad’. His WhatsApp and Telegram also have many objectionable messages circulated against the interest of the countries,” said the officer.
