Minor girl brutally raped by one Iqbal in Delhi on 5th August

A 16-year-old girl has been brutally raped in Subhash Place police station area of North-West Delhi, reports Dainik Jagran. The accused, Iqbal, was a neighbour of the survivor and he dumped her in a nearby hospital after the girl started bleeding profusely from her private parts.

Police has lodged a case of rape and under POCSO Act, and is searching for Iqbal.

The girl stayed with her family in the locality, and she had met Iqbal around a month back. They became friends. On the afternoon of 5th August, when the girl’s family members were out for some work, Iqbal came to her house and lured her to his room on the pretext of telling something important. There he raped her.

Once the girl started bleeding, he left her at a local hospital and ran away. The girl has received 18 stitches and is in shock. She is receiving constant counselling.
