Brahmins who have always been associated with compassion, discipline and intelligence struggle hard to even be recognised today, leave alone being revered or respected. Biased historians, leftist media and films have done their bit in projecting Brahmins in a negative light as mean, greedy and unkind demons. Each day seems like a fresh struggle for the new age Brahmin who is required to prove his worth and yet fails to get his due.
Further, they are being quietly murdered, raped and Brahmin women are supposed to be the most appropriate target for conversion. Despite several laws, crimes against Brahmins go unnoticed, unreported and unspoken off. One such dreadful yet unreported crime took place on the unfortunate day of 1st Dec 2020.
The ghastly episode occurred near a pond in the Bami village of Mirzapur district, UP. In this utterly devastating incident, three Brahmin cousins namely- Sudhanshu Tiwari, Shivam Tiwari and Hariom Tiwari were found dead under mysterious circumstances. All three boys were aged 14 years. Their families with a heavy heart testified that they were killed in the most brutal manner with their eyes reportedly gouged out mercilessly.
The pictures of the deceased Brahmin youths are being circulated on social media but the unfortunate part is that the police seems to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the same. In a video released by the Mirzapur police on its Twitter account, two police officials are seen denying any brutal violence in the case. Despite being a witness to terrible injury marks around the eyes, the officials asserted that “all body parts of the 3 boys are intact, contrary to rumours on social media”

Later on, after the incident sent shockwaves in the area, senior police officials visited the spot where the bodies were fished out from a water body. They confirmed ‘wounds around the eyes’ and announced the formation of an SIT to speedily investigate the matter.
On Tuesday, when the three youths went out in search of berries and did not return by dusk, their parents became anxious and went out in search of them. Disappointed and broken they came back home without the three young boys. One can only imagine their psychological and emotional plight as they struggled through the night. At crack of dawn, they along with the villagers again went searching for the boys. One group of the villagers who were looking around, found clothes of one of the youths near Lehdia Bandhi area in Bindhyachal. The clothes were torn and smeared in blood.
The moment the families of the three Brahmin youths got the appalling information, they informed the police. After an extensive search operation, the dead corpses of the three youths were recovered from the water reservoir. The families and the villagers were convinced after witnessing the condition of the body that the three youths were murdered. According to various media reports there were significant injuries on the bodies and all three youths had deep gashes around the eyes.
Despite evidence available for further investigation from a murder perspective, the police seemed hesitant in filling a complaint. As a protest, the families of the three Brahmin boys and the entire village blocked the highway. They demanded an in-depth investigation of the case. One needs little sense to see these pictures and conclude that this certainly cannot be a simple case of drowning.
Deeply tormented, the families and villagers continued to protest amidst the Lehangpur market with the dead corpuses of the three youths who were all students of standard 8.
A latest report by FalanaDikhana (a news portal which was one of the first to report factually about the Hathras case too) suggests that the prime suspect in this case could be one Salim, whose daughter was reportedly friendly with one of the murdered boys.
The unreported, unspoken off and ignored cases of such kind against Brahmins become a big question mark on the so called media that is quick enough to take note of Sara Ali Khan’s latest designer bag and write lengthy news pieces highlighting the so called sufferings of the Muslim ‘minorities’. It is extremely surprising that cases as reported above never reach the common person. Further, does one require to be a Muslim or a Christian for leftist journalists like Barkha Dutt, Ravish Kumar and Rajdeep Sardesai to do justice to their professions?
The above said is just one of the many cases that never saw any media support. It is time for the media and the people of Bharat to contemplate upon their attitudes and see crime as merely an act that is beyond the realms of caste and religion. Before being a Brahmin, Kshatriya, Sunni, Shia or Catholic we are living beings and deserve equality before law. Crimes against Brahmins shouldn’t go unnoticed merely because the leftist media has decided to do so. The Brahmins who have significantly added to the intellectual strength of the nation need fair treatment and justice.
It is time to look within and contemplate.
