Muslim father of 3 pretended to be ‘Nakul Sharma’ to rape Hindu girl under false promise of marriage

In yet another case of Love Jihad, a Muslim short-film maker in Greater Noida pretended to be a bachelor Hindu to get close to a beautician and rape her. After promising to marry her, he continued exploiting the girl for three months.

When the girl found out about from someone else that the man’s name was really Wasim, she went to the accused’s home in Jewar, UP and found that he was already married and had three kids.

What is worse, the family of the accused told her that in their religion, a man is permitted to marry multiple times so the victim could also convert to Islam and become Wasim’s second wife. When Wasim found out about her visit, he told her to go away from there and threatened to have her murdered if she did not.

On 8th August, the girl filed a police complaint at Noida’s Beta-2 police station. In her complaint, she said that she met the accused in a marriage about one year back where he had introduced himself as Nakul Sharma. He soon convinced her to leave her job at the beauty parlour and join him in his studio at Ansal Golf Link society near Pari Chowk.

Around 3 months back, when all the other staff had left by 6 PM, Wasim raped the girl. When she talked about complaining to police, he promised to marry her soon. Afterwards, he continued sexually exploiting her under false promise of marriage.

After this crime was highlighted on twitter and IG Meerut Range was tagged, police seems to have swung into action. SP (Dehat) Ranvijay Singh said raids are being carried out to arrest Wasim.

Sex on on false promise of marriage qualifies as rape in Bharat. But in light of increasing frequency of such cases where men assume a false identity to establish physical relations with girls belonging to another community, this clause needs to be specifically added to IPC Section 375 (rape law) or a new law should be introduced to provide for strict punishment in such cases.

On a societal level, a mass education campaign needs to be carried out to educate Hindu girls about such predators, and also within the Muslim community to shame such criminals & their families who misuse Islam’s theological approval to convert non-Muslims to justify their vile deeds. One idea could be to add this issue of ‘Love Jihad’ to the Government’s ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padao’ program to spread mass awareness & prevent girls from becoming prey.

Liberal elites will predictably outrage over any such new law or campaign by raising the bogey of ‘freedom to love’, but too many girls & their families are being destroyed in this social epidemic to keep avoiding it for the sake of political correctness.
