Muslim Man Rapes Nurse Under Pretext of Marriage, Then Threatens to Leak Video & Kill Her: Delhi

A 21-year-old nurse Sapna (name changed) from Delhi has lodged a complaint against Shakeel for raping her under pretext of marriage, Hindi daily Amar Ujala has reported. The accused also made an obscene video of the woman after drugging her, and started blackmailing her on the basis of that video. Now he is also threatening to throw acid on her and kill her.

On the complaint of the victim, the police has filed a case and started looking for the accused youth. The girl lives with her family in North-West Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area, while her aunt and many other relatives live in Agra.

A few years ago, Sapna went to a wedding at her aunt’s place. There she met Shakeel alias Sunny. After she returned to Delhi, the two started talking over phone. Shakeel came to Delhi to meet Sapna and expressed his ‘love’. Sapna also introduced Shakeel to her family.

Sapna has alleged that after promising to marry her, the accused repeatedly raped her. Despite repeated pleas, he kept putting off marriage plans. During this time, he also made a video after giving her intoxicants.

When Sapna talked to Shakeel’s family, they said they will first marry off their daughter. Soon, Shakeel started ignoring the girl altogether. The accused threatened to throw acid on her and upload her obscene video on social media.

Sapna has alleged that on April 18, the accused forcibly raped her. On complaining, the victim was threatened with death. On the complaint of the victim, the police has registered a case and started investigating. Police is looking for the accused.
