Senior Dalit BJP Leader Assaulted by Kerala Police, Loses Left Eye

A senior Dalit leader, Kerala BJP Vice-President Dr. PP Vava, was injured and lost his eye on Wednesday due to police action during a student protest at the Kerala Law Academy, Thiruvananthapuram.

According to reports, students of the academy were holding a strike against the college principal and television personality Lakshmi Nair, demanding her resignation. BJP activists from Peroorkada initiated a march supporting the students, which was disrupted by police using water cannons, tear gas and hitting the protestors.

On 30th Jan, RSS Payyannur Thaluk Karyavah Sajith was hacked by CPM workers who barged into an RSS baithak (meeting). On 31st, police lathicharged BJP leaders in Kerala during the #KeralaLawAcademy protest – many activists were badly hurt. The next day, Dr PP Vava was attacked when he went to the meet the BJP workers sitting on satyagraha at the law academy.

The Marxists are hand in glove with Islamists in attacking Hindus of Kerala – the 3 CPM men who threw the 10-month baby of a BJP worker on the road before attacking the father, have been identified as Mohammed, Nizamuddin and Sulaiman.

On 27 Jan, 3 BJP men were hacked at Anjarakkandi, Kannur district. The same day, CPM activists barged into Neyyattinkara General Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram district, and hacked BJP workers recovering there from an earlier attack. Crude bombs were hurled at RSS offices in Naruvamoodu and Mattannur, Kannur district. On 24 Jan, RSS activist Sudhir’s studio at Chakkarakkal, Kannur was burned by a petrol bomb thrown through the back window.

This is an example of the kind of weapons that CPM hit squads possess. And this is the heart-rending poem written by young Vismaya, a girl whose father Santosh, a BJP worker, was hacked to death by CPM activists in the Kerala CM’s own village Pinarai.

What is the “Kannur model“? Brutalise. Provoke. Corner. Make retaliation the only defence. And if Hindus retaliate, the media will jump in to highlight it and monkey-balance the whole issue as routine political violence. News agencies like PTI even downplay the life-threatening nature of assaults against Hindu activists in Kerala –

PTI doubts that an RSS leader was ‘seriously’ injured in CPM attack

Meanwhile, the CPM national leadership has nonchalantly washed their hands off the entire matter by putting the blame on RSS.

No media outlet, judge or intellectual has questioned Sitaram Yechury on how his State Government can so easily shirk all responsibility for law & order – if they cannot control the mayhem, they should appeal for Central intervention. When CPM does not spare even leaders like TP Chandrasekharan who ‘dared’ to leave the party and launch a rival communist outfit, doesn’t it show an almost Islamist level of intolerance for ‘blasphemers’?

Imagine if such attacks on political opponents were taking place in a BJP-ruled state and the BJP national leadership responded in such a casual manner? RSS and BJP are national organizations who have a footprint across the country – why is no other state witnessing such extreme levels of political-ideology driven violence as Kerala is witnessing since CPM swept into power last year?

This tweet sum up the current situation in Kerala – a Kashmir like exodus of practising Hindus, from Kannur district at least, looks very likely in the near future, unless immediate action is taken to reign in the CPM savagery.
