Urban Naxals with Help of Congress Behind Bhima-Koregaon Violence and Plot to Assassinate PM Modi

On 6th June 2018, Pune police had arrested Maoist activists – editor Sudhir Dhawale, lawyer Surendra Gadling, Nagpur University professor Shoma Sen, activists Rona Wilson and Mahesh Raut – for inciting the Koregaon-Bhima violence and funding the controversial Elgaar Parishad event on December 31. Letters recovered from those arrested have brought forth some startling facts.

Times Now channel has reported that they have obtained an explosive letter seized by the police from Rona Wilson, a JNU alumnus and overground Maoist worker. As per Times Now, the letter found from Wilson was dated 2nd January 2018, a day after the Bhima Koregaon violence took place. This letter is being considered as an appreciation letter from one Maoist comrade to another, and also talks about Congress links to the banned CPI-Maoist in order to spread chaos and disaffection with 2019 elections in mind.

According to an excerpt from the letter –

“Senior comrades from CPI-Maoist urban leadership have had prior talks with our friends in Congress who suggested to continue Dalit mobilization more aggressively. Whatever legal and financial aid is required, they are ready to provide through the intermediary through the intermediary Jignesh. Dalit sentiments are clearly against Brahmin centred agenda of BJP/RSS. This should be converted into large-scale mobilization and chaos.

We must keep up the pressure through simultaneous protests and programs across many states. It will undoubtedly help to take down the Modi juggernaut in 2019, proof of which is visible through Gujarat election results. Congress friends have assured assistance for release of senior political prisoners Comrade Kobard and Comrade Sai.”

Further, Pune Mirror has reported about another missive, allegedly written by top Naxal operative Milind Teltumbde to Wilson, which states –

“Comrade Manglu and Comrade Deepu have been coordinating the Koregaon Bhima programme since the last two months with Comrade Sudhir, and have been able to gather support from large sections of Dalits across the state. Comrade Jignesh and Comrade Umar are young fighters of our revolution.

With strong support from Prakash Ambedkar, we can foresee the outcome of their efforts in consolidating many Dalit struggles across the country within a few years. Comrade Sudhir was provided with two rounds of funds for this task. Comrade Shoma and Comrade Surendra will be responsible for providing funds for future programmes. The Koregaon Bhima agitation has been very effective.”

Comrade Jignesh and Comrade Umar are believed to be none other than rabble-rousing Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mewani who fought the recent Gujarat election in alliance with Congress, and JNU student activist Umar Khalid who led the anti-Bharat and pro-Kashmiri separatist event at JNU.

Both Mevani and Umar Khalid had attended the Elgar Parishad event held in Pune before the Bhima-Koregaon violence, in which Mevani was seen clearly inciting violence and asking people to shun electoral politics and fight on the streets. One person was killed in the violence that broke out after the Bhima-Koregaon event – and he was not a Dalit. Rahul Babaji Pharangade was allegedly identified as a Maratha because of his jacket that had Shivaji embossed on it and brutally beaten to death.

Prakash Ambedkar is president of Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh – he was recently in the news for abusing and threatening Times Now Senior Editor Anand Narasimhan.

Now coming to the shocker, wherein another sensational letter recovered by police suggests a plan to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi in “another Rajiv Gandhi type incident” by “targeting his roadshows”. This letter dated 18th April 2017 to comrade Prakash from an individual named R sheds light on a horrifying plot of the urban maoists.

Here is a copy of the letter, as tweeted by ANI –

As per the excerpt from the letter:

“Modi has successfully established BJP govt in more than 15 states….senior comrades have proposed concrete steps to end Modi-raj. We are thinking along the lines of another Rajiv Gandhi type incident. It sounds suicidal and there is a good chance that we might fail but we feel that the party PB/CC must deliberate over our proposal.”

The above letters clearly show the clear and present danger which Urban Naxals pose to national security and unity & integrity of the country. The following conclusions are inescapable –

  • Communists (i.e. Marxists and Maoists of all hues) consider Hindu Dharma as their number one enemy. What they term ‘fight against Hindu fascism’ is nothing but a call for anti-Hindu bigotry and for complete annihilation of Hindus.
  • Most of the agitations which the country has witnessed in the last 4 years are well-planned, systematic programmes executed with military-style precision by Urban Naxals and their fellow travellers i.e. the liberal-secular cabal.
  • Urban naxals will go to any length to achieve their objective which is the overthrow of the Bharatiya State and its Constitution. Their hate-filled propaganda and violent agitations can only be countered with an iron hand.
  • Congress is hand in glove with the urban naxals as it is desperate to win power in 2019 at any cost – for the Congress, the dynasty comes first. Other Congress clones like SP, RJD, TMC, NCP etc. are likewise corrupt family-run outfits who are equally power-hungry and will not hesitate to sell-out the nation’s interest if it guarantees them power in their regional turfs.
  • Anti-Hindu hate of the Urban Naxal and liberal-secular cabal makes them willing allies of Islamists and Christian extremists.

How this dangerous equation comprising of Congress+Maoists works in framing public narrative can be summed up in the following tweet:

It might come as a shocker to the common citizen that Communists can plot to assassinate PM Narendra Modi to further their political agenda, but seasoned analysts know that this is standard operating procedure for Communist movements worldwide. For such anti-Bharat, ‘tukde-tukde’ gang of urban naxals, the only option that has been left is to kill PM Modi. And there are many in the ‘mainstream’ who have wished for Modi’s assassination –  AAP-supporting film-maker Ram Subramanian (mentor of Gurmehar Kaur), Quint columnist Suprateek Chatterjee, Quint columnist Vikas Malhotra, to name a few.

Addendum

Here is a profile of the 5 arrested Maoist workers, as provided by Firstpost

Sudhir Dhawale

A Dalit activist and editor of the Marathi magazine Vidrohi, Dhawale founded the ‘Republican Panthers Jatiantachi Chawal’ (Republican Panthers Caste Annihilation Movement) to provide a common political platform for Dalits. He also launched a movement called ‘Radical Ambedkar’ and was previously arrested in January 2011 on charges of sedition for his alleged links with Maoists. At that time, he was a speaker at the Youth Ambedkari literature festival in Wardha. However, he was acquitted of all charges by a Gondia court in May 2014.

According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, Dhawale had participated in the Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh and Left meet in Mumbai to protest the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh and in February 2017, he was part of the Rohit Vemula protest by Mumbai Students Solidarity at the Mumbai University.

Recently, Dhawale was found to be one of the active organisers of the Elgaar Parishad in Pune which was organised by Dalit organisations to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Bhima- Koregaon battle.

Rona Wilson

He is a native of Kerala, who is currently based in Delhi, and working as the public relations secretary of the Committee for Release of Political Prisoners (CRPP). According to an Indian Express report, he has been active in campaigning against laws like UAPA and Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA). He is also believed to be a close aide of the Delhi University professor G N Saibaba, who was arrested in May 2014, convicted and later sentenced to life imprisonment in March 2017 by a Gadchiroli court.

According to the report, police sources claim that after Saibaba’s conviction, Wilson allegedly took over his task of “coordination” between left-wing extremist outfits in urban and jungle areas of the country and also oversaw the international network.

Shoma Sen

She is a Nagpur-based activist who is also an English professor at the RTM Nagpur University. She had been under the police scanner for her alleged links with left-wing extremists. Sen even filed a PIL to support the activists of Maoist ideologies. She was also present for the Elgaar Parishad in Pune.

As per a report in the Nagpur Times, her husband Tusharkanti Bhattacharya was last arrested in August 2017 by the Gujrat police in connection with a 2010 case related to Maoist activities but was later released on bail. He had been arrested on similar charges on multiple occasions before.

Surendra Gadling

Gadling is a lawyer based out of Nagpur, currently helming the Indian Association of People’s Lawyers as its general secretary. Known to be a tribal and Dalit rights activist, he has been providing legal aid to those arrested for Maoist links, including Saibaba and Dhawale. According to a Nagpur Times report, he even provided legal help to the Kabir Kala Manch artists who were questioned by the Nagpur police in September 2013 on allegations of carrying banned literature.

Mahesh Raut

Raut is a former Prime Minister of Rural Development (PMRD) Fellow. He has been alleged of being the link between jungle operatives and urban outfits of the Maoists. According to the Express report, he has been active in the Maoist affected Gadchiroli district for the last few years.

In April 2013, when Raut was a PMRD fellow, he was detained by the Gadhchiroli Police with his aide Harshali Potdar, after two Maoists arrested from the Koinvarshi village revealed that the duo was supposed to accompany them to meet senior Maoist leaders in the jungles. However, they were released after questioning.
