Woman Raped In Front of Her Husband by Vegetable Vendor, a Father of Five

A lady, 47, who was travelling along with her husband, was raped by a man in Uttar Pradesh, reports Hindi daily Jagran. The couple was visiting their married daughter at her home in UP.

According to the victim, she and her husband came from Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, on the pilgrimage to Mathura and Govardhan in UP. After that, on Friday, December 28, 2018, they were going to visit their married daughter who lived in a village in Sahpau Thana area in UP. At around 9 PM, they reached Vinobha Nagar in Sadabad, where they came across a man named Akbar.

Akbar, a father of five children, was a vegetable vendor in that area. He was wrapping up his work when the couple asked him for the direction to their daughter’s village. Akbar, on pretext of guiding them, brought them to his house. He asked them to stay at his place as it was getting late at night and  that they can leave in the morning.

Unaware of his evil intentions, the couple agreed to stay at his house. Victim told that later at night, Akbar grabbed her and molested her. When her husband tried to stop him, he threatened the victim that he will kill her husband. He, then, raped her infront of her husband.

Somehow, the couple escaped from the clutches of Akbar and reached the police station. Upon hearing their story, police immediately filed a case against the accused and grabbed him from his house. Police has also taken the medical examination of the victim.
