British-Pakistani MP from Rotherham charged with sexual assault of minor boy & girl

‘Lord’ Nazir Ahmed of the British House of Lords has been charged with two counts of attempting to rape a girl and also charged with indecent assault of a boy under 13, BBC has reported.

Prosecutors allege the offences took place between 1971 and 1974, when the former Labour peer from Rotherham, aged 61, would have been aged between 14 and 17. Two other men, Mohammed Farouq, 68, and Mohammed Tariq, 63, both from Rotherham, have also been charged. All three men are due to appear at a British court on 19 March.

Mr Farouq of Worrygoose Lane, Rotherham, is charged with four counts of indecently assaulting a boy under 13 between 1968 and 1972. Mr Tariq of Gerard Road, Rotherham is charged with two counts of indecently assaulting a boy under 13 between 1970 and 1972.

Nazir Ahmed was born in Pakistan and moved to the UK in 1969 with his family to join his father who was working in steel factories in Rotherham. He joined the Labour Party in 1975 aged 18 and became a councillor in Rotherham in 1990. In 1998 he became one of the first Muslim peers when he was appointed to the House of Lords by then-Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Nazir Ahmed’s twitter bio shows that he is the President of the APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group) on Kashmir, an informal UK parliamentary body that is known to toe the Pakistani line on the Kashmir issue.

‘Lord’ Ahmed has been quite active on twitter since tensions between Bharat and Pakistan escalated following the Pulwama suicide attack by Pak-sponsored terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed in which 44 CRPF jawans were killed.

Apart from echoing obviously anti-Bharat media outlets like Qatar’s state-funded broadcaster Al Jazeera and some Western analysts of extremely dubious repute, Nazir Ahmed is also finding a lot of common ground with Bharat’s opposition leaders, certain sections of our mainstream media and self-appointed ‘civil society’ of fringe left-liberals –

The House of Lords, also known as the House of Peers, is a feudal anachronism unique to UK. It is the upper house of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, and consists of 92 hereditary peers, 26 bishops of the Church of England and rest are peers appointed by the monarch. The House of Lords is the only upper house of any bicameral parliament larger than its lower house.

The northern English town of Rotherham, Yorkshire, to which ‘Lord’ Ahmed belongs is infamous for a child sexual exploitation scandal that is thought to have occurred from the late 1980s until the 2010s in which around 1400 young girls, mostly white, were subjected to horrific abuse by gangs of predominantly British-Pakistani men.

Local authorities failed to act on reports of the abuse throughout most of that period due to political correctness and fear of being branded as racist/Islamophobes.
