Journalist Rahul Pandita has revealed that during a trip to Bihar he witnessed CPI (Communist Party of India) cadre and leaders openly talking about mobilizing the Islamist organization Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) to convince Muslims to vote for CPI candidate Kanhaiya Kumar.
Critics of the left-liberal community in Bharat have often alleged that they whitewash certain crimes and indulge in selective outrage. Pandita captured this double-standard, to which Hindus are now waking up, in his tweets –
“Many now lament that a consolidation of Hindu vote has happened (“Hindu mind has been hacked”). But they don’t see the problem when other communities are openly asked to consolidate against BJP or Modi.
Many in the majority community have woken up to this fact and are now voting for Modi with their hands and feet. So if the consolidation has happened it has happened because somehow other consolidation is considered kosher.”
Communists and Islamists have a silent alliance in Bharat as the Marxists/Communists believe that accepting Islamist terror as a threat will hurt their ‘class struggle’ where the real enemy is the ‘Brahmanical Hindu hegemony’. This alliance built around a common enemy holds good in other parts of the world too, with the capitalist West and Israel being another favorite target.
Kanhaiya Kumar shot to national notoriety in 2016 as one of the student leaders behind the ‘Bharat tere tukde honge’ protest organized in JNU by supporters of terrorist Afzal Guru. Kumar and others are currently being prosecuted for sedition and other charges in that case.
Kanhaiya Kumar has accused Indian security personnel of raping Kashmiri women as a strategy in the ‘ethnic conflict’. One of Kanhaiya Kumar’s close aide accused him of being a ‘liar’ and ‘casteist’, and he has also been accused of flashing his penis to a woman.
After his arrest in 2016, senior left-liberal intellectuals immediately anointed Kanhaiya Kumar as the new political star on the horizon and potential challenger to PM Modi.
Kanhaiya Kumar contested the 2019 Lok Sabha election from Begusarai on a CPI ticket. However, he lost to BJP leader and Union minister Giriraj Singh by a massive margin of 4.2 lakh votes, despite the attempt at communal mobilization of the Muslim vote (most of which would have gone to RJD’s Tanveer Hassan), and a long list of stars from showbiz – poet Javed Akhtar, actors Shabana Aazmi, Prakash Raj and Swara Bhaskara as well as comedian Kunal Kamra – campaigning for him.
