According to DMK leader Dayanidhi Maran, the Corona Virus scare is an ‘opportunity’ for BJP to ‘dismantle’ ongoing protests against CAA, NPR and NCR. He sees a ‘silver lining’ for the BJP during this pandemic which has taken the world by the storm. Pandering to his Muslim vote bank he opined that the health scare would allow BJP to end all protests.
PM calls #JanataCurfew "preparation for challenges ahead". Timing of #COVID19 virus couldn't have been better for the BJP to dismantle all #CAA, #NRC & #NPR protests. Panic & fear over #Corona has distracted the country from all other issues. Silver lining in every cloud for BJP.

It is Maran and his party DMK who have been encouraging terrorist outfits like Towheed Jamaat to defy restrictions put in place by the Tamil Nadu Government in view of the pandemic. Had it not been for an explicit order by the Madras High Court putting a stop to all protests and gatherings, the Towheed Jamaat would have gone ahead with its protests and jail bharo (filling jail cells) programme defying Janata Curfew as well like they did in Thirunelveli earlier. It is a known fact that most extremist Islamic organisations in TN are backed by the DMK which encourages them to issue threats and demand special privileges.
But fear mongering and deliberately misleading people is possibly a pre-requisite in DMK or Maran was simply inspired by DMK President Stalin who was caught spreading fake news about the pandemic in an attempt to create panic.
At a time when the opposition should be standing by the government and extending all help to reach the poorest of the poor, who would certainly be hit the hardest, parties like DMK and politicians like Maran are playing petty politics only because they hate Hindu Dharma and by extension Bharat itself.
