The Abdullahs and the Muftis who have been lying low because of their royal incarceration commonly called house arrest have immediately started their anti-Bharat rant after their release. The Gupkar alliance is not an attempt to restore the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir as Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti would have made us believe but an unconstitutional and selfish attempt to protect and promote their own vested interests and anti-Bharat agenda.
Farooq Abdullah has crossed all barriers of traitor-ship by seeking the help of China to invoke and reinstate Article 370 and should be immediately booked for sedition and waging a war against the State. Mehbooba Mufti’s remark that she will not hold the national flag till the erstwhile State flag is restored is tantamount to violating the Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act 1971 and necessitates immediate incarceration as per the terms of the act.
Terrorism thrived and the worst genocide resulting in the killing and massacre of Kashmiri pandits in 1990 happened under the very nose of Farooq Abdullah who was the then Chief Minister but remained a mute spectator to the bloody massacre of innocent women and children. The same Abdullah has further strengthened his anti-national credentials by invoking China to help restore Article 370 so that he can continue to enjoy the same privileges and freebies at the cost of the national exchequer and continue with his policy of self aggrandizement.
The Gupkar alliance and its President and Vice President, namely Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, should stop hoodwinking the people of Kashmir by posing as protectors of human rights. If they are really concerned about human rights violations then they should have the spine and spunk to raise their voices against the atrocities being meted out their brethren (Uighur Muslims) in the Xingiang province of China.
Lakhs of ethnic Uighur Muslims have been put in Nazi style concentration camps and are being slaughtered and butchered everyday under the instructions of Xi Jin-ping. Farooq Abdullah and his son do not have the gumption to speak a word against China but like true traitors they will shamelessly seek the enemy nations help to restore Article 370 for their own interest.
The late Sheikh Abdullah illegally detained Shyama Prasad Mukherjee – the founder of Jan Sangh – in prison where he died under mysterious circumstances. His grandson misused Article 370 by illegally arresting Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj when they were hoisting the tricolour at Lal Chowk in Srinagar.
The Abdullahs and the Muftis have been shielding and protecting the pro-Pakistan separatists and the Hurriyat. JKLF under Yasin Malik thrived under them and was instrumental in the brutal killing of innocent Hindus in 1990 when Mufti was the Union Home Minister and Farooq Abdullah was the Chief Minister.
The special status conferred on J&K only filled the coffers of a few and fomented terrorism and unrest in the valley. Anti-Bharat sentiment was at its peak and the likes of Yasin Malik and party had a free run to kill and hound the minority community. No one thought or spoke about human rights violations then. However, as soon as this bogus and temporary rug, that lasted 70 years of privileges without accountability was removed from under the feet of these leaders, they raised the bogey of human rights violations.
Central aid was swindled, embezzled and misappropriated with aplomb by the powers that ruled Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh for the past seven decades. Thus, with 1% of the total population of the country, J&K had access to 10% of the country’s funds while Uttar Pradesh with 14% of the nation’s population gets 8% from the national exchequer.
The ostentatious lifestyle of the Abdullahs, Muftis and the Hurriyat leaders have been at the expense of the nations taxpayer. The two former CMs have been hand in glove with the Hurriyat and the separatists for the past four decades. If that is not enough the nation has to bear their anti-Bharat rhetoric and rant when they are out of power like at present.
The Gupkar alliance is another attempt by these like minded anti-nationals to disrupt the peace in the valley and rake up anti-Bharat sentiment. The onus is on the people of Jammu & Kashmir to see through their game and defeat their nefarious designs at destabilizing peace.
The government on its part should take serious note of such statements and take action against such anti-national elements even if they happen to be former CMs of a former State.
