Donate digital devices for underprivileged students – an appeal from RSS Jankalyan Samiti

As schools are unable to convene physically due to the on-going Coronavirus pandemic, classes are being held online as per recommendations of the authorities. But this step is presenting a new challenge for students from underprivileged backgrounds, as they lack decent computers or digital devices using which they can join these online classes.

Hence RSS’ Jankalyan Samiti Maharashtra Prant appeals to you to donate your old/used PC, laptop, tablets and smartphones to underprivileged students so that their academics go on unhampered.

Self-Assessment for Equipment (Do’s)

  • Working condition
  • Minimum compatibility with Windows 7 or above
  • Smartphone minimum 6” inch

Not Accepted (Don’ts)

  • Not in working condition
  • CRT monitors
  • Connectors or power cables missing
  • Broken screen

Beneficiaries through This Drive:

  • Coronavirus impacted students from economically backward families
  • Rural Schools – to develop their IT Infrastructure
