Kareena Kapoor Khan & a Tale of Two Pictures

When the victim is a 8-year-old Muslim girl –

When the victim is a 2.5-year-old Hindu toddler –

Editor’s Note

The double standards in how our celebrities behave is indeed striking. But a lot of it is down to secular conditioning & deracination that we all have been subjected to for the last 100 years. Whether it is Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Anubhav Sinha or any other Bollywood celebrity, even if they have an inclination to follow current affairs, what is their source of news & information? Invariably, it is mainstream rags like Times of India which practise yellow journalism while pretending to be a serious broadsheet, or compromised public intellectuals like Ramachandra Guha who can’t see beyond their Nehruvian infatuation.

Yes, in this day & age of the internet and robust, alternative news sources, ignorance is no longer an excuse. We must expose the hypocrisy of these deracinated celebrities who do not have the mental strength to resist the group-think imposed by our powerful establishment left-liberals. But let’s not forget that the far more dangerous enemy are the intellectual leaders of the distorted Nehruvian Idea of India.

Devout Hindu and practising brahmin, very interested in history and current affairs of Bharat. Do not believe in birth-based "caste" but rather varna based on swadharma and swabhava, and personal commitment to that varna's dharmas. I don't judge people by the religion they profess: every human being should be treated with equal dignity. At the same time, I don't judge a religion by the people I know who profess it. A religion, like any doctrine, should be subjected to critical examination using facts and reason.
