VHP Thailand’s Grand Holi Festival Events in Bangkok Recorded Massive Participation

VHP Thailand organized a grand event in Bangkok to celebrate Holi this year. It was a grand success with lot of native Thai people celebrating with enthusiasm. This only shows how festivals can bring people together. The event was also well received by general public and media with many top newspapers showing it on their front page and appreciating efforts of VHP Thailand.

Holika Dahan – 23rd March 2016
Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Hindu Dharm Sabha Thailand jointly organized annual Holika Dahan festival on Wednesday, 23rd March 2016 at Shri Vishnu temple in Bangkok. H.E. Shri Bhagwat Bishnoi, Ambassador of Bharat to Thailand participated in Holika Pujan and Dahan. More than 1000 people joined the traditional Holika Pujan and Dahan program with friends and family members.

​Holi Comedy Night – 26th March 2016
Padamshree Dr. Sunil Jogi, Shri Surendra Dubey, Shri Anil Choubey, Shri Parth Naveen and Shri Mukesh Sharma entertained Thai-Bharatiya community at Holi Comedy Night 2016 organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad Association Thailand, International Vaish Federation and Holi Festival Partners on Saturday, 26 March 2016 at Amari Watergate Hotel, Bangkok, ‪#‎Thailand‬

Holi Rangotsav Bangkok – Sunday, 27th March 2016
More than 10,000 people joined the Largest Holi festival celebration in Thailand organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad Association Thailand, Thammasat University and Holi Festival partners at Thammasat University (Tha Prachan Campus) on Sunday, 27 March 2016. H.E. Mrs. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports Royal Government of Thailand and Shri Abbagani Ramu, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Bharat joined as Guest of Honor. The event was featured in all kind of media with front page coverage including Bangkok Post, The Nation and many other local newspapers and news channels. Shri Rajkumar (as Junior Amitabh Bachchan) also mixed up very well with the young crowd on popular Holi songs by Amitabh Bachchan.
