Tamil Nadu Towheed Jamaat has come out in support of the Taliban. A functionary of the quasi-terror Islamist organisation has compared Taliban’s Islamic policies with Hindu customs and degraded PM Modi as well. In a viral video he can be seen daring Hindus to debate with him about Sati and the alleged ‘regressive’ practices of Hindu Dharma.
Everyday new details of what Afghans go through at the hands of Taliban and how desperately women their want to escape being ruled by them are coming out. However Islamists in Bharat seem concerned about the flak Taliban is receiving and are quick to defend their religious brethren.
In a similar attempt to defend the Taliban, the TNTJ functionay says, “Do you think you have the eligibility to talk about how the Taliban treats women? Shall we talk about Modi then? Isn’t he someone who doesn’t even live with his wife? He is a shameless guy roaming all around the world (implying that he has affairs elsewhere). No Sanghi has the right to speak about women’s rights.”

While horrifying details of how Taliban terrorists raping even the dead bodies of women are coming out, the TNTJ functionay has the audacity to say, “A religion that asks them to burn wives with their husbands, shall we talk about that? No one will dare to open their mouth”. It is exactly because of the sort of inhumane barbarism that current-day Islamists like Taliban are displaying, that practices like Jauhar became prominent in the medieval age when Hindu women feared necrophilia by Muslim invaders. And raking up the obscure practise of Sati which is now a relic of the past, and which was anyway hyped up by British colonial missionaries to justify their ‘civilizing mission’ in Bharat, shows the desperation of Taliban apologists like TNTJ.
Islamists not only managed to distort the truth of the past but are whitewashing their crimes of the present by citing distorted history. Indian Islamists have been found celebrating the Taliban taking over Afghanistan and establishing Sharia rules and expressed their desire to see the same executed in Bharat. Such open support for Taliban doesn’t augur well for the integrity of Bharat and should be nipped in the bud by the security agencies and Hindu society at large.
