In yet another case of a Pakistani Hindu girl being abducted, forcefully converted to Islam and ‘married’ to a Muslim man with the connivance of local mullahs, Nisha (daughter of Deewan Mal) was abducted from Mandir gali, Pano Aqil, Sindh province few days ago, only to be later found at Bharchundi Sharif (Sufi dargah for tomb of Hazrat Hafiz Muhammad Siddi) where she got converted and ‘married’ to her kidnapper.

It is estimated that hundreds of Hindu, Sikh and Christian girls, many of them minors, are abducted each year, most of them from the so-called ‘progressive’ Sindh province where most of Pakistan’s < 2% Hindu minority population is now concentrated. Tragically, this kidnapping, rape and conversion racket is run with impunity – though direct involvement of so-called ‘tolerant’ Sufi centers like Bharchundi Pir, and the tacit approval of police, courts and wider society of Pakistan where conversion of ‘kafir’ Hindus to Islam is looked upon as a desirable inevitability.

This is the bitter reality of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan – a nation which our liberal-secular cabal & social elites paint as a ‘good neighbour’ which shares our socio-cultural heritage.

Even the Hindu middle class and our icons from cricket, Bollywood etc. who pine for good relations with our ‘Pakistani brothers and sisters’ are blissfully unaware of the Islamo-fascism which reigns in Pakistan and the brutal persecution faced by Pakistani Hindus and other minorities.
