Maa Kali temple vandalised, land grabbed in Land Jihad case from Bangladesh

A century-old Maa Kali temple has been vandalised by Muslim land grabbers Tauhidul Islam & his brother-in-law Muhammad Mohsin at Jhalokati district in south-western Bangladesh. The accused are trying to appropriate the land of Maa Kali temple by planting banana & papaya trees, the local union council chairman alleged in a press conference on behalf of Hindus. This news has been reported by a Bengali National daily newspaper of Bangladesh “The Daily Janakantha.”

After the press conference, Hindu populace, Hindu leaders & leaders of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad (Bangladesh Puja Celebrating Council) formed a human chain in protest against this atrocity. Maa Kali & Shitala Mata devotee Janardan Bhattacharya bestowed this 0.82 acre land for the temple, which is now being targeted by the rapacious land grabbers from the majority community in Bangladesh.

Attacking Hindu temples to grab their land is a well-known ploy of Muslim extremists in Bangladesh. This land jihad is one of the primary drivers of the exodus of Bangladeshi Hindus to Bharat. Hindu population in Bangladesh has dropped precipitously from 22% in 1951 to less than 9% today. This is a supreme irony, given that Bangladesh won its independence in 1971 from the genocidal Pakistan regime with the help of ‘Hindu’ Bharat!

In a similar incident from last year, but on a much larger scale, Muslim zealots attacked at least five temples in Brahmanbaria’s Nasirnagar upazila and ransacked over 100 Hindu houses and looted them over a Facebook post that allegedly hurt Muslim sentiment. These attacks were carried out under a well orchestrated plan aimed at grabbing lands of the minority community, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of Bangladesh later said.

The attack was carried out to drive away the Hindus from their land,” Enamul Haque Chowdhury, chief of the national rights body’s fact finding committee told The Daily Star newspaper. PM Sheikh Hasina’s ‘secular’ Awami League party too was accused of complicity in the Nasirnagar pogrom with Awami League Minister Mohammad Sayedul Haque (Minister for Fisheries and Livestock) abusing Hindus as “Maluyaner Bachyara” (children of Kafirs) and threatening the media for covering the incident.

In 2015, Awami League MP Dabirul Islam was accused of grabbing land belonging to some Hindu families at Thakurgaon’s Baliadangi Upazila bordering Bharat.

It does not require rocket science to understand that this is exactly the fate that awaits Hindus of West Bengal if they don’t wake up soon to end the rule of Islamist-appeasing ‘secular’ parties like TMC, CPM and Congress.
