Pak minister’s threat to Bharat – ‘temple bells won’t ring’ if ‘fortress of Muslims’ attacked

Pakistan’s federal minister for Railways, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, has issued a threat to Bharat in a video message released on twitter.

Referring to Pakistani PM Imran Khan’s address earlier today, Ahmad said that the whole of Pakistan stands by their PM in war or peace. He then reiterates Imran Khan’s convoluted charge of ‘atrocities on Hindustan’s Muslims’, before crudely threatening a nuclear holocaust

“We are not wearing bangles… If anyone looks askance at Pakistan, those eyes will be gouged out. Then neither grass will grow, nor birds chirp, or bells ring in temples, because Pakistan is that fortress of Mussalmans which Muslims across the world look up to.”

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad is a lawyer by profession and has served multiple terms in Pakistan’s National Assembly. Apart from Imran Khan, he was also very close to the dictator Pervez Musharraf, and served as Information Minister in Musharraf’s regime.

In a trip to Pakistan in 2005, Kashmiri separatist leader and terrorist (retd.) Yasin Malik had thanked Ahmad for his support to the Kashmir jihad.

“Ahmad used to support the front line jehadis but very few people know about his contributions,” Malik remarked at an exhibition where Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Ahmed were present. Malik claimed that Ahmad had set up a camp at Fateh Jung in Punjab, where around 3,500 jehadis were trained.

Malik later backtracked on his comments, but another separatist leader Hashim Qureshi  confirmed that Ahmad ran camps.

In 2012, Ahmad was detained in USA for his links with LeT founder & 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed. He had actively attended rallies and meetings organised by the Defa-e-Pakistan Council, an ISI-sponsored coalition of pro-Kashmir extremist groups formed by Hafiz Saeed, who also heads Jamaat-ul-Daawa (JuD), a front organization of LeT.

These are the kind of jihadis that occupy constitutional posts in Pakistan.

The journey of Imran Khan from a dashing playboy cricketer to a fundamentalist Muslim now referred to as ‘Taliban Khan’ is well known.  And the last Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, who retired just a month back, has talked of his unashamed hatred and contempt for Hindus in public speeches. The true face of Pakistani Army and its ISI spy agency bears no repetition.

Is this the kind of religiously bigoted nation that our left-liberals and seculars want to talk peace with?
