Bihar: Minor girl student raped at girl friend’s house by one Mohammed Jaani

A minor girl was raped at her girl friend’s house by a Muslim man in Bihar’s Darbhanga, reports the Hindi edition of News18.

The incident took place on December 26th, 2018. The minor, a student in the village’s senior secondary school, returned home for lunch then went back to school. However, she didn’t return in the evening. Her worried parents searched the whole village looking for her, but all in vain.

The girl returned home the next day, around 5 AM in the morning. She told her parents that a friend from the village had invited her to her house where she was raped by a man from the village named Mohammed Jaani, son of Heera Rahi. She was then dropped at her home by her friend.

The parents informed the head of the panchayat about the crime. Later, they registered a complaint at the women’s police station. Police has filed an FIR on the victim’s complaint and has started its investigation.
